BMW 1-Series M coupe

BMW thought they were so slick when they brought out a video that teased the 1-Series coupe. The image was there, but the car left much to be desired since it was mostly covered up in a black tarp. As inpatient as we are, we set off on a hunt for a rendering of the much anticipated M coupe, and we found our first one through Bimmerfile.
In their rendering, Bimmerfile showed off their idea of what the vehicle was going to look like based off of BMW’s video. Now, we have a second rendering from none other than Jon Sibal himself. The master artist has created his own idea of what the 1-Series will look like based off of BMW teaser images, spy photos, and some insider information supposedly making this rendering very close to the real thing.
This rendering shows a bumper that looks like it came straight off the E92 M3, but with sharper angles. The BMW 1-Series M coupe will also come with larger fender vents, flared fenders, more angular side skirts, a central duct, brake air ducts, an additional two ducts on the bonnet, two air intakes on the front wings for a typical M look, and the bar that incorporates the side indicator light. It will also have an integrated duckbill trunk spoiler, upgraded M wheels, and large brakes with cross-drilled rotors. We’ve also heard that the coupe will come with a carbon fiber roof, but that idea might get scratched to cut costs.
As for the engine, BMW is staying tight-lipped, but we hear it might be featuring a modified N54 turbocharged inline-six producing around 350-hp.
Stay tuned, BMW will be revealing the official details for the BMW 1-Series M coupe soon!
